Enrolling your dog into the School of Hard Knocks Training Program (“the Program”) will benefit both you and your dog.
Before beginning this journey, please take the time to carefully read the Terms and Conditions below. It’s important that we share an understanding of what is involved in delivering this course, that you understand your rights and obligations as a valued member of Dog Club SA and that you’re aware of any conditions that I have in delivering you a well trained, happy and disciplined dog via the School of Hard Knocks program.
The parties to this agreement include That’s All Finance Pty Ltd (ACN 122 240 439) as trustee of Mr T’s Discretionary Trust (“Dog Club SA”) and the Member detailed on the completed Membership Form.

By applying for Membership the Member confirms to having read and agreed to our Terms and Conditions.
All members of Dog Club SA must be a minimum of 18 years of age unless supervised by an adult when using the training facilities. All membership agreements for persons under 18 years of age are required to be authorized and signed by a parent/guardian.
Acknowledgement of Obligations, Risks & Injury
The Member acknowledges that any activity undertaken at Dog Clubs SA training facility has inherent dangers and risks and that by participating in such activity the Member is exposed risk. The Member acknowledges that they are physically and medically sound to undertake any activity and agree to advise Dog Club Head Trainer if they become physically and/or medically unsound to participate in such activity. The Member understands that while participating in an activity:
They may be injured, physically or mentally;
Their personal property may be stolen, lost or damaged;
Other people participating in the activity may cause them injury or may steal or damage their property;
The Member may cause injury to other persons or damage their property.
The Member participates in any activity at their risk and responsibility and the Member assumes responsibility for any injury, death or property loss or damage resulting from their participation in an activity.
The Member releases, indemnifies and exempts Dog Club SA, its employees, agents and contractors, from and against all and any actions or claims which may be made by the Member or on the Member’s behalf or by other parties for or in respect of or arising out of any injury, loss, damage of any kind caused to the Member or their property howsoever arising. whether by negligence, breach of contract or otherwise whilst on the property at the Dog Club SA Training Facility.
The Member further acknowledges and agrees that due to the nature of the activities to be undertaken, it would be unreasonable for Dog Club SA its employees agents and contractors to be in any way responsible for any injury to the Member, their dog, their partners, children or other invitees, and to the full extent permitted by law, he or she waives all of his or her legal rights of action against and fully releases Dog Club SA its employees agents and contractosr for loss, damages, injury or death howsoever arising out of or in relation to the participation by the Member or their dog in the activities conducted or organised by the Do Club SA including without limitation, liability for any negligent or tortious act or omission, breach of duty, breach of contract or breach of statutory duty on the part of Dog Club SA, its office bearers, directors, employees or agents.
The Member further acknowledges and agrees that he or she has undertaken the activities freely, voluntarily and absolutely at his or her own risk and with a full appreciation of the nature and extent of all risks involved in any activity.
Membership at Dog Club SA entitles the Member to attend the training facility and participate in the program for a 6-month period following the training provided by the head trainer at the published training times. The training schedule and course outline is attached as Schedule 1 to these Terms and Conditions.
If due to unforseen circumstances, the Head Trainer is unable to deliver training as per the schedule, Dog Club SA reserves the right to make changes to the schedule and offer an alternative class. It will be incumbent on the Member to attend that alternative class so that they can complete the full training.
The member acknowledges and understands that the Dog Club SA requires the Member and their dog to participate in the program being one weekly on-site class, one online session per week as well as self-directed training each week that will be advised to them from the Head Trainer.
It’s important that the Member considers their commitment to the program to ensure an optimised outcome for their dog. As part of the program, we will work with you and your dog at the training facility. Each week, you will need to participate in our lecture series which provides you with the theory behind the upcoming training for that week and gives you the opportunity to ask any questions.
You’ll also be given homework…. This homework will be fun and is a structured way for you to interact with your dog and continue training on your own before we progress to the next week’s class.
Our program is designed to contribute the best possible result from the training.
At Dog Club SA, we promote and value respectful communication so that all Members are able to attend in comfort and enjoy a harmonious environment with other committed members.
Please avoid using any profanity or unruly behaviour.
Do not engage in conduct that could be reasonably construed by another as sexual in nature.
Please do not engage in humour that is misogynistic, homophobic, political or religious – you might be hilarious, but the risk that others don’t agree is always present.
Behaviour or language that is aggressive, threatening &/or disrespectful will not be tolerated and a Member who acts in this way will be removed immediately from that session and may, at the sole discretion of the Head Trainer, be removed from the Training Program and permanently expelled as a member.
Please wear comfortable clothing and footware that is suitable for the physical exertion required to train your dog
You must report to the Head Trainer any changes in your personal circumstances that may affect your ability to participate in the Training. The Head Trainer will use his best endeavours to accommodate your needs and assist you in ensuring your Dog gets the best possible outcome for that training session.
An upfront and one off enrollment fee of $500 is payable prior to the course and will be invoiced to you from Dog Club.
At Dog Club SA we prefer payments on a direct debit basis. Upon signing the membership application form, you will need to present your photographic identification card and/or passport to the Head Trainer upon arrival for your first session – the head trainer will take a scan copy of your identification to support the Direct Debit agreement. Dog Club SA’s direct debit membership is a 40 week contract with a cost of $50.00 per week incl. GST (excluding direct debit fees). This is debited on a weekly basis.
Once the member has completed their forty (40) week contract, their membership and direct debits will cease. Should the member wish to cancel their membership during their forty (40) week contract 14 days notice is required and exit fee of 50% of the remaining tuition fees worked on a pro-rata basis.
Direct Debit is an automatic weekly deduction that will be maintained unless the member provides authorization to Dog Club SA to cancel the Direct Debit. In the event that the Member’s Direct Debit is dishonoured by their financial institution, Dog Club SA will recover any outstanding balances together with administration fees of $50.00 (excl GST) on the next Direct Debit date.
Dog Club SA may, in its absolute discretion, suspend or revoke a person’s membership, and ban that person from attending at the Dog Club SA training facility, if that person:
Engages in criminal activity.
Conducts themselves in a manner inconsistent with the General Rules of the Dog Club SA Training Facility Fails to comply with any term or condition, or any rule, which relates to hygiene or which is designed to prevent the transmission of covid-19 or any other virus.
Enters or attempts to enter any Dog Club SA facility whilst showing symptoms of covid-19 including but not limited to elevated body temperature or fever
Is verbally and/or physically abusive towards any staff member or contractor of Dog Club SA and/or towards any other member
Engages in any conduct constituting harassment of any member or any staff member or contractor of Dog Club SA including any comments of a sexual nature made to or about any member, staff or contractor.
Unreasonably refuses any lawful direction from a staff member or contractor
Conducts themselves or allows their dog to behave in a manner that places themselves or any other member, staff member or contractor at risk of injury
Please note that as a new business and sole operator I wish nothing more than to see the business thrive and to help dog owners get the absolute best out of their dogs.
If you have any issues or there is a dispute resolution procedure which as part of this membership application you are agreeing to follow or do not agree
Please raise any issue with the Head Trainer verbally either by phone or email.
The Head Trainer will attempt to resolve the issue immediately. If the Head Trainer is unable to resolve the issue the Head Trainer will use their best endeavours to investigate the issue further and he/she will provide a response to you verbally or in writing within 5 business days.
If you are not satisfied with the response to your issue, please put your response in writing, we can review your response in detail and consider any possible solutions to the problem.
You undertake to refrain from making any public statements either in person or on social media that are disparaging towards Dog Club SA, its Training Program or on behalf of Dog Club SA.
Dog Club SA reserves all legal rights and remedies in resolving any dispute.
Dog Club SA respects your privacy. In training sessions you will only be addressed by your preferred name as advised to the Head Trainer. The Head Trainer will address you by your first name as supplied on this application form.
For online classes, you are responsible to ensure your online identity is protected as you see fit. We do encourage members to actively participate in the class verbally, by way of chat and by video.
All of your card details are encrypted by the Direct Debit platform and are not available for viewing by Dog Club SA.
Dog Club SA will abide by the relevant privacy legislation applicable in South Australia including any obligation to notify members in the event of a Data Breach.
